"Conquering New Ground" Eliza Dukes, Spiritual Biz Consultant/Mentor Why Are You Waiting? 3 KEYS TO GOING FORWARD! It is a noble thing to be conscientious about doing the will of God, but I wonder if too much caution isn't often an evidence of a misunderstanding about the nature of God and calling. Remember the parable about the talents? Three men received talents. One guy multiplied five and another multiplied two. The master was delighted. The third guy feared his master and buried his one talent in the earth. When the boss returned he got his one talent back. What did the master call him? A "wicked, lazy slave." Most people miss entirely the point of this parable. It isn't a parable about God rewarding good stewardship, its not about stewardship at all - it's a parable about RISK! God rewards RISK. Intelligent risk-taking in Heaven's interest is of interest to Heaven! Those who play it so safe that they never risk losing are called "wicked and lazy." Therefore: 1.) Be willing to risk. The Apostle Paul wanted to be led by the Spirit - but he sought that leading while moving. He was far from sitting still as he…"passed through the Phrygian and Galatian region, having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia; and after they came to Mysia, they were trying to go into Bithynia, and the Spirit of Jesus did not permit them…" (Acts 16:6-7) Blocked by the Spirit in two geographies he pressed into a vision in the night of a Macedonian calling for help. Off he went! 2.) Get in motion while seeking the open door. A parked car is difficult to steer. I especially encourage young people to go for it. You're not going to be into your real career stride till your 30's so experience as much as you can in your 20's. Swing the bat and be willing to miss. Try many things. Find out what you like and what you're good at. Put yourself into positions where you risk being wrong. 3.) Get a clear picture of where you want to end up. Its amazing how this works. If you get real clear on WHAT you want to see, the HOW TO will start to materialize. The Bible sequence is "whatsoever things ye desire, when ye pray believe…" Notice, the starting point for manifestation isn't "strategy", it's holy desire! Picture the thing you desire and your desire for the thing you picture will attract the vehicle for manifestation. The secret is "believing" with the "heart," not "straining" with the "head." Not that God won't use your mind. In fact He just might drop an entire mega-strategy right into your head in a flash - that's usually how it happens. The point is that God wants you less worried about missing His perfect will and more comfortable being in motion, risking and seeing His works and interventions in your life. Conclusion? 7/14/2014 0 Comments Blessed In & Out!If you have every heard the song by Artist, Fred Hammond called, "Blessed," it speaks of being blessed in the city, blessed in the fields, blessed when you come and when you go. This song is based on Deuteronomy 28:6. Wrapping your mind on this spiritual principle will enlighten your understanding of, "How well God has blessed you with a kingly anointing." Keep reading and expand your understanding.
"Blessed Beyond Measure!" -Eliza Dukes It is written.. "I have prepared your going out and coming in." Yet the Bible also refers to your "coming in and going out." What's the difference? According to 7M business man Jonathan Wield, "going out and in" is language spoken over kings! They went out into battles and came back in after battles with the spoils of enlarged territories. The priests, on the other hand, "come into Gods presence and go out to do their service." In the new covenant we are BOTH - "out and in" and "in and out"! The term "royal priesthood" catches it. We are a ROYAL (kingly anointing) combined with a PRIESTHOOD or priestly anointing. Priests come before the throne of grace and Kings overturn the thrones of enemies. One is vertical, going up to heaven and back to earth and the other is horizontal, going out and expanding domain and returning to solidify. We are BOTH. The believer is called to go up into the presence of God like David and come back from that presence with strength and strategy. From here you go out and take territory from the devil and come back in with increase. Out and In for kings, in and out for priests..both for you. Having a difficult transition season? God has prepared your going out... and your coming into the new thing He prepared. -- Dr. Lance Wallnau Eliza Dukes, Spiritual Biz Consultant 302-753-1331 www.ACTSConnects.me Written by Sherry Peel Jackson March 17, 2014
Did You Know, You're Giving Money To Other Countries? I meant to write about this a while ago but now it is front and center in the news, again. US prepares $1B aid package for troubled Ukraine http://yhoo.it/1cBzWVa Since WWII the United States has led the developed world disbursements of foreign aid almost every year. However, my research on the Constitution, (the law of our land for those that didn’t know) shows that we are not supposed to give money to other countries. [Article I, Section 9, Clause 7 says that "no money shall be drawn from the treasury, but in consequence of appropriations made by law."] But that clause says that money can only be appropriated by law. It does not confer upon Congress any additional mandate to spend that they would not have without it. Borrowing from Bill Lockwood of Patriots4Liberty: “Billions of dollars are squandered annually in overseas projects by one interventionist administration after another.” Then he asks, “Just which constitutional provision allows the Congress or Executive Office of the United States to send money to foreign nations?” In 2012 the U.S. sent 37.7 BILLION dollars overseas for foreign aid! The reasons given for disbursing all of this foreign aid range from “peace and security” to “governing justly and democratically.” But just who decided what countries get our money and why? Some of these countries are in need if you consider famine and genocide “need”. Yet many of the countries don’t need our money because they are rich with natural resources. They just need people to help teach them how to tap into their own well. 2012 U.S. Foreign Aid Statistics ************************************************************************ Source: http://bit.ly/Ooonpa The top 5 recipients of your hard earned resources are Israel, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq and Egypt. Special arrangements that benefit these and other countries, combined with aid paid out to them cost Americans nearly $8.5 million each day and thousands of jobs. So the question is this: Why is this happening? Don’t we need our own resources here? With the unemployment rate and lack of proper infrastructure I think we need to rethink our generosity to foreign lands. Leave Your Comments Below The 2012 outlay alone would have put a large dent in the housing crisis and kept a lot of people in their homes! I think CHARITY starts at home. Tell me what you think!
